WHY YOU NEED SUNSCREEN!

Exposure to the sun can be damaging to the skin even when we don't think its extremely sunny outdoors! Causing sunburns, sensitive skin and signs of aging. The sun’s rays have two types of harmful UV rays--UVA and UVB. UVA rays penetrate your skin more deeply than UVB and are the cause of premature skin aging. UVB rays are the primary sunburning agent. Sunscreen comes in many forms, spray, liquids and sold form. It is an over the counter product used to protect the skin from harmful UV lights. Physical sunscreen, or sunblock, contains natural minerals such as titanium dioxide and zinc oxide that cover the surface of skin to physically block or reflect broad spectrum of the sun's UVA and UVB rays.
If you are spending more then 15 minutes outdoor or in front of a window with direct sunlight its important to apply sunscreen to skin. Apply it 15 - 30 minutes before the sun exposure and try to reapply every two hours. Its always great to enjoy a nice sunny day but always put your skincare first by adding a little sunscreen before stepping out!
